In the so-called imaginary or unusual arts, we stress the subjective nature of the artist, his dreams, fantasies and fears. These creations seem to be born of an intense and sometimes disturbing internal debate, whose meanings are not always accessible. It is through the perspective of the creation of original works that the works of some folk artists are identified as unusual art. Included in this group are artists like Manoel Galdino and Nhô Caboclo (PE), Ulisses Pereira Chaves and Geraldo Telles de Oliveira (MG), Nino (CE) and Antônio Poteiro (GO).
